Queens

Queens County is one of the 5 boroughs of New York City bordering Nassau County, the Bronx and Manhattan. Queens is one of the most ethnically diverse counties in the United States. It has great proximity to New York City via subway and to Long Island via the LIRR. It is home to the NY Mets in Flushing and the US Open Tennis Center. There are major film studios in Long Island City and horse racing at Aqueduct Racetrack.

There are two excellent airports in Queens – LaGuardia and JFK. The area enjoys all different types of housing: apartment houses, large single family homes, multifamily dwellings and coops and condominiums. There is a thriving 8 mile beach community in the Rockaways where there are several different neighborhoods. The Northern sector of Queens consists of Astoria and Long Island City, which have quick proximity to New York City via subway.
